A married couple who play weddings
We are Me & You
Two professional musicians who share one passion: music. We married in 2025, so we know exactly what that day feels like from your side. We have played at masses broadcast live on TVI.
Violin and voice
Joana
Couples remember her voice: "soft and beautiful", "angelic", "it made me cry". Joana also helps you pick the readings and the hymns for the mass.
Piano, organ and voice
Nelson
From São Miguel, in the Azores, and a musician in the Portuguese Army. He has played for liturgy since he was 15 and sung with liturgical choirs on TV, including RTP2's series "São precisos dois para casar".
At weddings there is a mystique I love to watch and be part of: music in perfect harmony with the place and the people, in that very moment.

A first chat
Tell us the date, the place and the moments you want. We reply within 24 hours with a quote.

Meeting or rehearsal
In person or online: we get to know you, hear your ideas and suggest pieces for each moment.
Step 3
Your repertoire
Fully personalised. We set up a WhatsApp group with you, and the list can change until the day — even at the priest's last-minute request.
Step 4
On the day
We arrive early with our own sound system. Travel is included in the Lisbon area.

When the church doors opened for me to walk in, the sound was moving: Joana on violin and Nelson on the organ. Then the cocktail mixed violin, sax and organ — our guests still talk about it.
The combination of piano and violin was simply magical. They played and sang with a rare sensitivity.
There were no dead moments in the church. Everything flowed, which made the ceremony even more beautiful.
I'm a musician too, I play the violin, so I can say it knowing what I'm talking about: they are the best at what they do!
At the last minute we had to change the songs for the mass to suit the priest, and they played them beautifully. Joana's voice even made me cry.

As early as you can: wedding Saturdays fill up, and a good repertoire needs time. For small occasions we need at least 24 hours' notice.
Yes, the repertoire is entirely yours. We suggest pieces for each moment, arrange the ones you love and keep the list open until the day.
Both. In church we sing the mass as your choir, with organ or piano and violin; at civil ceremonies in quintas and gardens we bring a digital piano and our own sound.
Of course. We often bring in friends, family or the couple themselves, and rehearse with them beforehand.
